PODCAST: Dylan & Dave Squabble On #5: “Stanley”

Chrissy joins Dylan and Dave for a chat about the greatest filmmaking genius of all time, Stanley Kubrick. As if our video on the subject wasn’t enough.

Hosted by Dylan Spicer & Dave James with guest Chrissy Velveteen

Who is the greatest filmmaker of all time? Everyone has their own opinion, from Spielberg to Scorsese to Nolan. But in our humble estimations, Stanley Kubrick is the one to beat. We discuss the man’s finer works and what they mean on a deeper level, including Lolita, Dr. Stangelove, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, and Eyes Wide Shut.

Oh, and in case you haven’t seen it, here’s our video production on old Stanley, hosted by Michael “Jimmy the Fool” Hunter.
